Listed below are movement activities, skill practice ideas, and fitness exercises which will keep your skills sharp while we are away from Bay. Pick something which interests you and have fun! These will be updated throughout the 2020-2021 school year.

Fitness Exercises
- Modified Push-Ups on knees or Traditional Push-Ups (how long or how many modified push-ups?)
- Continuous Run/ Brisk Walk (How many minutes of a run/walk and what distance?)
- Curl Ups (w/ partner gently standing on feet)
- Burpees or Mountain Climbers (How many in 30 seconds?)
- Plank or Modified Plank (Abdominal workout)
- Jump Rope Competition (How many jumps in 30 seconds?)

Sports Skills
Maintaining the sports skills we have been working on with practice or games which involve:
- Football spiral throwing
- Basketball dribbling and shooting
- Overhand throwing (with or without glove)
- Soccer Skills (foot dribble, kicking, passing, and trapping)
The Juggling Challenge!
Do you know how to juggle? If not, this is a great video to teach you the steps involved in learning. If you have scarves or dish/wash towels it is easier to learn than using socks or tennis balls. See how you do! |
